Exploration of the essential techniques needed to produce and record music in both the digital and studio environments. Campers were FastTracked through the essentials of digital studio recording to programming editing, sampling, mixing and developing their original compositions using industry-standard hardware and software to include Reason, Ableton, Logic Pro and Pro Tools on the Mac (Apple) platform. Projects created and developed at the digital audio workstations with elements recorded and mastered at the Citrus Studios. Finished projects had the option of a live performance at the Showcase Concerts. Music Production Campers received a mastered CD and digital files of their recorded music projects.
